THE ROLE:

In response to increasing business demand, we are looking for someone to join our custom refrigeration division as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.

Experience with sheet metal fabrication & TIG welding necessary.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Awareness and compliance to WHS principles
• 1 st class sheet metal certificate o experience with stainless steel fabrication.
• Be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, to ensure a quality end product
• TIG welding competency
• Forklift ticket (desirable – but not necessary)

The Frost Group has a number of positions available at our Newcastle operation, and are currently seeking; Sheet Metal Workers, Stainless Steel Polishers & Labourers (both workshop & site) to join our team.

Sheet Metal Workers Will Require:

• Awareness and compliance to WHS principles
• Experience in general fabrication work including stainless steel
• TIG and MIG welding (desirable, not essential)
• Familiar with operation of metal work machinery e.g. guillotine, brake press, cold saw, general power tools
• Appropriate personal sheet metal tools
• NSW Trade Certificate
• NSW White Card
• NSW Drivers Licence

In addition, it is desirable that you have experience with:

• Light gauge stainless steel welding of bench tops, sink bowls, welded bench joints
• Stainless steel finishing
• Layout and development of bench tops, sinks, troughs, sluice sinks etc.

Stainless Steel Polishers & Labourers will require;

• Strong work ethic
• Be reliable and a team player
• A willingness to learn new skills to advance career prospects
• NSW White Card
• NSW Drivers License (desireable)

Frost is a leader in the design, supply and installation of commercial kitchen and bar equipment to the hospitality industry, and are looking to find a suitably qualified installer to join our team.

Working with the manufacturing and project team, this person will ideally have a background in sheet metal or be experienced with site installation of fabricated products in a commercial environment. They would need to be able to work both flexible hours and away from home as required on short notice.

The successful applicant will need to have:

• Excellent communication skills
• Previous installation experience of metal fixtures, appliance, or HVAC equipment
• TIG welding competent
• Experience in commercial fit outs and work sites
• Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
• NSW Drivers License
• Solid attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, & problem solving skills
• An ability to work autonomously and also with a small team
• Preferably have sheet metal/boilermaker trade experience
• Ability to travel to work sites around NSW and SA as required.
• NSW Installers can be Sydney based.
